The Credit Card Portfolio Analyst will support accurate planning, reporting and analysis of operations within the ACS portfolio and affiliated enterprises through the responsibilities listed below.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Monthly financial statements.
  • Prepare Quarterly accounting and credit risk packages for Board of Directors reporting.
  • Lead the preparation of the Annual operating budget.
  • Understand the Card Program P&L and the essential drivers impacting profitability.
  • Prepare variance analysis reports and ad hoc schedules, as required.
  • Assist in review of month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.       
  • Provide timely and effective communications to management.
  • Exercises discretion and independent judgement in the performance of accounting responsibilities.
  • Ability to manage numerous priorities and coordinate multiple deliverables.


Knowledge & Skills:

  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
  • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office required.
  • Must be well organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have flexibility and organizational skills to operate in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to change.
  • Experience with Great Plains and SAS - preferred but not required.


Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university required.
  • 4-8 years relevant work experience desired (including internships); public accounting a plus.
  • Credit Card or Banking experience preferred but not required.
  • CPA preferred but not required.
