The Credit Card Portfolio Analyst will support accurate planning, reporting and analysis of operations within the ACS portfolio and affiliated enterprises through the responsibilities listed below.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Prepare Monthly financial statements.
- Prepare Quarterly accounting and credit risk packages for Board of Directors reporting.
- Lead the preparation of the Annual operating budget.
- Understand the Card Program P&L and the essential drivers impacting profitability.
- Prepare variance analysis reports and ad hoc schedules, as required.
- Assist in review of month-end journal entries and account reconciliations.
- Provide timely and effective communications to management.
- Exercises discretion and independent judgement in the performance of accounting responsibilities.
- Ability to manage numerous priorities and coordinate multiple deliverables.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills.
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office required.
- Must be well organized and detail oriented.
- Must have flexibility and organizational skills to operate in a fast-paced environment and the ability to adapt to change.
- Experience with Great Plains and SAS - preferred but not required.
Education & Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Accounting from an accredited four-year college or university required.
- 4-8 years relevant work experience desired (including internships); public accounting a plus.
- Credit Card or Banking experience preferred but not required.
- CPA preferred but not required.
