The Small Business Sales Manager is responsible for meeting and/or exceeding all sales goals and service targets by proactively identifying, marketing and recommending bank product and services to prospective clients.  This individual will develop and lead innovative strategies to prospect, grow and deepen bank business relationships while strengthening the bank’s brand awareness in the market.

Essential Functions:

  • Complete knowledge of business sales skills including Business Development, B2B and Outside Sales
  • Strong knowledge of deposit and small business loan products
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Provide recommendations for promotional and developmental tactics to maximize bank profitability. 
  • Provide Customer service at an unparalleled level of personal attention and service that exceeds customer expectations at every point of contact.
  • Thorough knowledge of Applied Bank products, accounts, and services.



  • Proven success in developing business and selling bank products and services
  • Three to five years’ experience in retail banking.
  • Must demonstrate solid experience in sales development, implementation and training
  • Experience in preparing reports for executive and senior management outlining business development goals, production, and improvement recommendations
