The Credit Card Services Manager oversees core credit card operating departments for a niche issuer. This position serves as a key management role spanning business operations, strategy and administration. Key departments that report to the Credit Card Services Manager include Credit, Account Servicing, Collections, Recovery, IT Processing and Merchant Services.


Essential Functions:

· Manage the Bankcard Operations department and Staff ensuring policies, procedures and strategies are sound, adhered to, and compliant with lending policy and regulatory requirements and guidelines.

· Enforce all corporate and departmental policies and procedures; identify areas of opportunity to increase efficiencies within the department.

· Provides feedback, coaching and development to direct reports on performance towards department goals.

· Monitor the progress of project solutions for business needs.

· Oversee credit card systems administration including program requests and processes enhancements as they relate to FDR.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

Directly supervises the management of the Bankcard Operations departments including Account Services, Collections, and Bankcard Support.


Education & Work Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance or other related fields preferred.

· Minimum of three (3) years of supervisory experience in a credit card servicing environment.

· Minimum of five (5) years of credit card operations/production environment experience.

· Strong knowledge of Credit Card Operation processes and technology (FDR, TSYS or similar systems is preferred)
