Essential Functions:

  • Proven track record of cultivating new lending opportunities that can be developed into strategic relationships within Delaware, Southeastern PA, Maryland and New Jersey
  • Universal knowledge of commercial loan products and processes
  • Structure credits and loan facilities while maintaining sound risk management and asset quality
  • Engage and network with leaders in the community to support the Bank’s Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) initiatives
  • Ability to cross-sell products, along with proven sales and product expertise with business clients
  • Ability to maintain an assigned portfolio of diversified commercial loans in a manner that retains and builds upon customer relationships through exceptional servicing and value added products

Knowledge & Skills:

  • A rolodex of established relationships in Delaware, Southeastern PA, Maryland and New Jersey
  • Well-developed sales and negotiating skills
  • A proven ability to negotiate, close and build profitable commercial customer relationships
  • Collective understanding of commercial credit loan transactions including financial statement analysis, loan documentation and related legal and compliance requirements
  • Must be detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills
  • Proficiency in WORD and EXCEL required

Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Banking experience with a minimum of three (3) years in commercial lending is required
